| venezia designs include brightly coloured beads which were made in Venice from 1600AD.The most widespread bead was known as a millefiori which in Italian means one thousand flowers.The beads were built up from glass slices much like the writing in a stick of rock!
As well as millefiori I have used greenheart, whiteheart and venetian fancy beads, all from Venice and traded in West Africa.
